Stay away from any scheduled protests, riots, uprisings, or large political gatherings.  It is absolutely not safe to attend such an event in today’s political climate.  I hope my readers are smart enough to recognize that.  I also hope my readers weren’t involved in yesterday’s tragedy in Virginia.  Both sides of that “protest” were at fault.  Both sides showed up looking for a fight.  Both sides got exactly what they came for.  The only way to avoid violence like that on a personal level is to avoid being present in the first place.

U.K. Police Arrest Man on Terror Charges at a London Airport

U.K. police arrested a 49-year-old man at London Southend Airport under terrorism legislation.
The man was held and taken to a south London police station on suspicion of preparation of acts to commit terrorism, U.K. police said. Officers are carrying out searches at an address in the London suburbs in Essex, they said.
The arrest comes as authorities work to prevent another deadly terrorist attack in the U.K. In the 12 months up to March, police arrested 304 people on terrorism charges, the highest since 2001, according to Home Office statistics.
Officials at Southend Airport, a small airport near the east coast, didn’t have immediate comment on the arrest.

Los Angeles: A man fired multiple gunshots outside the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles in the US before shooting himself dead. The shooting was reported on Tuesday around 6 a.m. (local time), Xinhua news agency reported.
